doors opening and closing and all that

well today is my last day as the owner of Stamp and Scrapbook Madness. It really is a happy/sad kind of day as I will really miss the store - particularly the customers as I feel like I know many of them better than I know my friends. It has been a wonderful but exhausting experience and I am not quite sure how it will feel tomorrow when Iwake up and it isn't my "baby" anymore!!
But at the same time it is a huge relief as it means that we can move on with the next adventure in life... and I am sure the kids will be pleased to actually see me a little more often!!!

I also plan to spend a little more time here blogging - particularly keeping an eye on what is new , brilliant ( and not so brilliant) in the crafty world!!!

But really today all I want to do is thank everyone for supporting me and the store and allowing me to be a partner in their creative journey - Happy Crafting!

Congratulations Fiona, you turned what was quite a run down store into a thriving business.

I used to work near the original store at Coorparoo. My mum is a friend of your mum (they used to work together at Whites Hill) and I've enjoyed hearing of your progress.

Stop by and visit me some time - maybe we can swap tips! www.meandmy2guys.blogspot.com

Congrats and good luck with your new future. We will miss you. Very thankful that you moved your store closer to my home, searched overseas for a product for me, said hi to me at the local shops and sold all my old scrapbook supplies at the garage sale. And please don't tell my hubby about my recent splurges..hehe!

It always amazes me how you meet people in your life, enjoy shopping in their shop and enjoy the friendship that comes from that. Enjoy your last day at the store and your new adventure. You always need these. Keep blogging so we can all stay in touch. Thank you very much, Fiona. Julie Menelaws

Hi Fiona

You have made a lovely community around your shop - sometimes I would even make an excuse to come in just to say hi and have a laugh! Thanks for all the fun and beautiful products you've supplied us with over the years...

All the very best in your new endeavours and look forward to reading about them on your blog!

Wow Fiona! What a great accomplishment! I went into Paper trendz/Bayside school supplies the other day and only now realised you've sold the shop! I always wished I could pop in more, but I'm way out of the way...But just wanted to say, congrats on making your venture a great success!
