Flying High

I am still having fun playing with my new boyfriend! The minute I saw this paper aeroplane paper I thought of this card...problem was I just couldn't make a decent paper aeroplane. Thank goodness for 4 year old boys and their dads!!! They soon sorted me out and....voila!
In fact I like this idea so much I now have plans for a layout too.

I love my boyfriend

It is no secret that I love Cosmo Cricket. The papers (particularly their borders and elements) often make me laugh out loud. I am lucky enough to already have some of their new ranges and have been playing with "The Boyfriend" The papers are retro and quirky and take me back to being in highschool. What I like most about the range is that is is definitely masculine, but not exclusively - a rare find with "boy" papers! This layout is something I have been meaning to scrap for ages - Lachlan learning to write his own name. When I spotted this fab pencil paper I just knew it would be perfect. I even got Lachlan to help by writing his name on one of the element pieces for me to include.

I also have some male cards I have been working on too that I hope to photograph tomorrow.

One of those days

I Just seem to have had one of those days today - where time seems to get sucked into a vortex and just disappears before my eyes. I just wish that I had more hours in the day!!!

Have been busy creating classes for the new scheudle and finally have some ready to share...

Seems wierd to be doing Xmas photos but I seem to have plenty of them to work with -besides Christmas in July seems as good a class theme as any! I really love this range of papers from Teresa Collins lots of clean lines!!!!

Have more to share soon - just as soon as I can get them photographed!
in the meantime check out the sneak peeks of the new SSM kits.

More Cosmo Cricket Love

It would come as no surprise to most people that I am a Cosmo Cricket fan! Their paper collections usually make me laugh out loud! Team that with bright and funky designs and you have one happy scrapper!

Cosmo Cricket are currently looking for new people to join their design team - can you imagine how fabulous that would be1!. Now whilst I blog far too randomly to be a contender I thoguth I would run a bit of a Cosmo focus on the blog to highlight just how great their ranges are!! If you are interested in applying for a DT role you definitely should drop by the blog... http://cosmocricket.typepad.com/cosmo_cricket/

Whilst you are there check out the new Girl Friday fabric...... am already wondering if it is possible to get this in!!!

So in here is the first in my I Cosmo series: Party Page - which I have just finished teaching at Stamp and Scrapbook Madness

Well suffice to say that my New Year's resolution has well and trully bombed. Two blogs this year isn't exactly what I call much of an achievement. But somehow there never seem enough hours in the day - particularly for the things I would LIKE to do not HAVE to do!
I would love to spend more time here, creating a journal of our everyday...but I just never manage to get here!
Well I will persist in attempting to keep this going by posting a couple of recent projects. All of course are done for the shop....I look forward to creating something soon that isn't for a class or kit - just because! I absolutely heart Cosmo Cricket....I thougth Girl Friday was going to be my favourite CHA release.... but I was wrong - snorkel wins hands down!!!

New Years Resolution already in danger

Well my New Year's resolution was to blog more. Well here we are at Jan 11 and this is my first post for the year. Figured if I didn't write soon I would be in danger of breaking the resolution before I even started!!!

Things are as always busy hectic and mad - but that really is situation normal.
Thought I would post some pics I have for a upcoming class at the shop - using a resist technique with the cuttlebug. I have to admit that I wasn't the brains behind this technique. For that you have to thank Melstampz . Note the cuttlebug folder image on the cardstock minus the embossing:

I have also been stalking all the paper companies out there looking for some CHA sneak peeks. I have posted a huge list on the new forums on the website but so far I am loving quite a bit of the My Minds Eye ranges particularly:

Will try and post again tomorrow with some more sneaks
